About White Oak Ministries

In my 38 years of teaching high school students, it has been my privilege to counsel many students through many of their problems. When I retired from teaching, I really missed dealing with high school kids. God led me to minister to trafficked and sexually abused teens. I and some of my board members and fellow pastors began visiting facilities to see what it took to have a facility. We learned that we couldn't house males and females on the same property, so we decided to treat girls. Therefore, we are in the beginning stages of building a facility to do just that. Thomas Avant
